Blacklisters (Leeds/Berlin)

Returning to Bradford for the 1st time in 10 years and being their only UK show of 2023! Blacklisters will be making a rare appearance to bring their ingeniously weird brand of dark noise-rock to the Beehive, Shipley. Formed in 2008 they quickly established themselves as one of most formidable noise-rock bands in the country and have toured the UK and Europe extensively. With a slew of critically acclaimed albums through the likes of Brew Records and Learning Curve and now with USA Nails frontman Steve Hodson on bass duties, they’ve become renowned for confrontational and unpredictable live shows and have shared stages with the likes of Scratch Acid, Bo Ningen and Pig Destroyer to name a few. Don’t miss their only UK show this year.
“Twelve years into their life as a band, Blacklisters remain a noise rock powerhouse with no sign of slowing. If anything, their harsh, creative music has only gotten more vibrantly energetic.” – BCFB
“A massively enjoyable, gloriously messed-up slab of wax” – New Noise Magazine

Coded Marking (Leeds)

Driven, industrial, post-punk from Leeds that meanders through monotonous and intense krautrock leanings smothered in delay and the desperate howlings of the ex-Cattle front man Chris Robinson. After seeing them at our Leeds alldayer, we had no choice but to invite them over to Bradford for you lucky lot. Also featuring ex and current members of The Reflecting Skin, Hamer and Soft Issues.
“Hypnotic, yet repelling. Brooding and yet, captivating…it’s an amazing debut. I’m really excited by the future of this band.“ – Echoes & Dust
FFO: The Men, Shellac, Neu!, The Wipers, The Fall.
Gordian Stimm (Leeds)

Gordian Stimm is the solo project of Leeds based artist and performer Maeve Westall. Borrowing from a plethora of electronic genres, her fractured and experimental pop music is haunting, emotive and unafraid of breaking conventional musical boundaries.
