Hello Shipley, we’re back! But this time, it’s a little different. Due to the recent temporary closure of the beloved Kirkgate Centre, we’re pleased to be moving all forthcoming events to the recently refurbished Beehive Pub on Saltaire Rd. Tickets are limited to x75 only, so we highly recommend you buy in advance via the link below.

Thee Alcoholics (London)

From the back streets of South East London, Thee Alcoholics cut straight to the point. A nihilistic no-fucks-given attitude encompasses everything they touch and results in a menacing blend of no-wave, noise rock and no frills whatsoever. Its straight up, monotonous dirge of the highest order that rocks as hard as it punishes. Threatening yet exhilarating. Wrong but right. Paying occasional homage to the likes of Brainbombs, The Fall and Todd but boiling their essence down into a horrible pint of piss. Unrelenting and totally unreasonable. A baptism in lager. Their debut album is due to be released by the very excellent Rocket Recordings in 2024 (home to Goat, Pigsx7, Gnod, Teeth of the Sea, Petbrick etc).
Polevaulter (Leeds)

Replacing Personal Hell, we’ll be joined by Leeds based duo Polevaulter who recently shared stages with the likes of Powerplant, Mandy Indiana and Bo Gritz to name a few. Since their original conception in 2020, their haunted and visceral noise-rock has consistently evolved with each release, leaning further into the deepest recesses of industrial noise that borders somewhere between post-punk and intense dark techno, unapologetically tackling toxic masculinity, sexuality and the monotonous and miserable reality of England. Not for the faint of heart.
Garbage Pail Kids (Leeds)

Leeds noise scene premier technicolor improvisers Hilary Knotts (aka Yakki Da! / Cowtown) and Theo Gowans (aka Territorial Gobbing, Thank and the man behind Leeds infamous Heinous Whining noise nights) have been cooking up an audio mud pie for you all. GPK is the result of endlessly bothering toy keyboards, crunching charity shop cassette players, nonsensical chipmunk ramblings that occasionally and spontaneously develop into pop song soundscapes. Its difficult to pin down, like the meandering chaos of Black Dice or Throbbing Gristle. But they’re clearly living their best lives so shut up and listen.
