Welcome to the third instalment of Endless Hum held at the iconic Kirkgate Centre in Shipley, Bradford. We’re very proud to present…
Saturday September 3rd

Sly & The Family Drone (London)

The neo-jazz-noise wrecking crew that is Sly & The Family Drone are back in town. Infamous for unpredictable live performances, ear-shattering volume and intense, psychedelic noise-rock. The band have gone to hell and back after a slew of traumatic events but are back on tour following their latest haunting collaboration with London improv troops Jamaica!! released last year. Live shows are often ground level, amongst the crowd and line-ups have previously rotated to create an ever shape-shifting beast.
“A sonic bludgeoning of the highest degree” – The Quietus
They’ve performed at the likes of Supersonic, Fat Out and Raw Power festivals as well as supporting the likes of Lightning Bolt, Justice Yeldham and Dalek to name a few. They’ve had past collab’s with Dead Neanderthals and releases on Hominid Sounds, God Unknown, Cruel Nature etc etc. The list goes on and on. You won’t see anything like this in Bradford this year.
FFO: Boredoms, Swans, Lightning Bolt & Brainbombs.
Algernon Cornelius (Manchester)

Aka Clarkus Dark or Marcus Clarke has been experimenting and producing beats since the early 2000’s with a plethora of early releases under his belt ranging from instrumental sessions to remix albums (including Wu-Tang). However, recent endeavours see AC taking the stage following his rap debut album ‘The Miraculous Weapons of Clarkus_Dark‘.
Embracing raw samples, his music fizzes with lo-fi vinyl crackling and loose, un-quantised beats coagulate alongside warped analog loops.
He’s supported the likes of Armand Hammer, Dalek, Big Lad and Shit & Shine to name a few and we’re stoked to have him here for the first time.
FFO: Armand Hammer, Death Grips, Clipping & Earl Sweatshirt.
Care Home (Leeds)

Formed in 2019 and featuring ex-members of noise-rock Londoners USA Nails and the post-hardcore rumblings of False Flags, Care Home have been quietly piecing together a live set since their raging debut EP Assisted Living (Part 1) was self-released earlier this year. Having been busy honing in their sound for the last few months, we’re chuffed to have them play their first ever gig for EH. Expect large doses of b-movie horror, noise-rock, post-punk, naughties screamo (the good kind) and gnarly church organs.
FFO: Swans, Jesus Lizard, Song of Zarathustra & John Carpenter.
Yorkshire Modular Society (Bradford)

The sound of Oxynucid aka Yorkshire Modular Society has mutated into many different forms over the course of the last two decades. Sometimes ravey, sometimes ambient but always shot through with a signature genetic strand of retro-future melodic sensibility. He’s built a devoted following throughout Europe, with recent sold out releases on Mystic & Quantum and Rossz Records, plus collaborations with Mrs Jynx (Planet Mu) and Vertical 67 (Lunar Disko / Acroplane) amongst others. Yorkshire Modular Society is truly formless, without beginning or end, like a great ashen tree beneath the Earth’s crust.
FFO: Sunno))), Aphex Twin, JK Flesh etc.
