Hello Shipley! After a bit of a break we’re back at it and this gig will be the first to grace the newly refurbished Kirkgate Centre. Taking place in a new, smaller and previously unused hall space at the back of the venue, tickets for this one will be strictly limited to just x60 so don’t mess about. Come check out the refurbishment, sample ales from the new (Triangle managed) bar and soak up the noise with us….

Coded Marking

On a joint UK tour with local noise-rock veterans Care Home, we couldn’t resist the opportunity to bring Coded Marking back following two blistering sets last year within the depths of the Beehive and the Belgrave. Featuring ex and current members from a plethora of other amazing bands (Cattle, T-800, Soft Issues, The Reflecting Skin and Hamer), CM’s unique minimalistic style captures the driving monotony and no-nonsense approach you’d associate with krautrock, tangled up in a ball of proto-punk and shoegaze. Not dissimilar with the likes of Uranium Club or the Wipers but with a darker and more abrasive tone. In our opinion, they’re one of the best bands in Leeds right now.
Care Home

Featuring ex-members of fellow noise-punk’s USA Nails and the now defunct post-hardcore legends False Flags. Care Home have supported the likes of Oxbow, Birds in Row and Ken Mode. They released a raging EP back in 2022 and have since been carefully crafting a follow-up album right here in Bradford. Their sinister noise-rock sound is driving, heavy and laden with dissonant synths that wouldn’t sound out of place in a John Carpenter body horror flick.
Self Immolation Music

Leeds based Self Immolation Music bring dark and heavy psych-rock into the fold. Drenched in reverb, blending and oscillating their sound, meandering tirelessly through the dry desert heat. Reminiscent with the likes of Destruction Unit and Dead Meadow.
Prey

Featuring past and present members of the one and only Shitty Limits, Personnel and Omerta to new a few, Prey are High Wycombe’s equivalent to Iron Lung and are no less fucking raging. Expect blisteringly urgent hardcore/powerviolence laden with slabs of slow heavy sludge.
