Endless Hum & Meksummat
Saturday 28th June
We’re excited to announce our first ever collaboration with local legends Meksummat; renowned for hosting a plethora of gigs, markets and general fun stuff, supporting local artists and performers. This year we’re doing things a little differently. We’ll have all of the usual live projections, merchandise, craft ale on tap, food vendors and record stalls but this time its taking place at everyone’s favourite time capsule, the Caroline Street Social. Tickets are limited as usual and available via the link below.

Demdike Stare
The dark, ambient electronic duo return to Shipley once again. Sean Canty and Miles Whittaker started the project back in 2009 as two friends experimenting with electronic sounds influenced by ominous horror soundscapes, sci-fi futurism, obscure jazz, heavy techno and 90’s jungle to form a collaboration that somehow manages to negotiate all of these influences seamlessly, often encompassing them within an ominous atmospheric sense of dread. Live shows are loud, unpredictable and completely improvised.

Nik Colk Void
With past endeavours with the likes of Factory Floor, Carter Tutti Void and NVPR. Void is an electronic musician and artist with a vast reputation in experimental shapeshifting and collaboration. Void’s interests lie in the unconventional encounters with her tools, both analogue and digital, as a means of improvised expression that heavily leans into techno, club, experimental and noise. Past performances have also included the likes of Supersonic, Coachella and Pitchfork.

Gum Takes Tooth
Jussi Brightmore and Tom Fug have undergone various transformations throughout their 15 year life span. What originally started out as an intense no-wave assault on the senses, has since embraced digital noise and opted for a less is more approach on their latest album Recovery Position. A blend of uncompromisingly futuristic rave and dark ambient sci-fi influenced electronica. Jussi’s synthetic vocals are eerily akin to Hal (2001 Space Odyssey), quietly spoken and delivered with just the right amount of ominous intent.

The Eurosuite
Featuring members of USA Nails, Cower and Screen Wives to name a few, London based no-wave punks have just released their third full length ‘Totally Fine’ in as many years on the ever impressive roster of Human Worth Records. Off kilter guitars and filthy synths are akin to the likes of Psychic Graveyard, Health and Divorce.

Sweet Williams
Thomas House has been making music for a long while now. First as the driving force behind Charlottefield and then within acts as diverse as Picore, Sloath, Joeyfat and Haress. Sweet Williams delivers an elegantly minimalist approach to song writing. Raw human emotion, cleverly dissected, evaluated and delivered for your entertainment.

REALITY
REALITY is the audio sketchbook of George Clift (November Coming Fire). An exploration in improvised tone and dynamics. A sonic battering of guitar, saxophone and noise thats unrestrained in its bullishness. Defiantly rooted in metal-hardcore and thrash metal, tuned low to Open C, begging you freak out and exit early.

Video Evidence
Hailing from Leeds and featuring members of Coded Marking amongst many others, Video Evidence are fresh out of the oven, ready to unleash a torrent of bile and sludge. Its raw, grinding hardcore noise-rock, dripping with contempt. Lovely stuff.
