Endless Spite II

Saturday 6th December

After the success of last year’s first ever Endless Spite event in Shipley, Bradford, which sold out, we decided to do it all over again. A collaboration between Endless Hum and the legendary Out of Spite collective; renowned for hosting some of the most iconic and memorable punk / hardcore shows across Leeds and Bradford for over 20 years. This time performances will take place on one stage in the wonderfully refurbished Kirkgate Community Centre, which was recently fitted with a brand new PA and stage. We’ll also have live projections, merchandise, craft ale from the Triangle, food vendors, record stalls and more to be announced. Tickets are once again first come, first served so don’t miss out and grab your’s via the link below.

Endless Spite II is also supported by Bradford Music Month.

And None of Them Knew They Were Robots

Your favourite post hardcore, prog emo, boys are back after a prolonged shutdown. Formed in Leeds in the early 00s they played every gig possible relentlessly and have now returned with a new album ‘Almanac’, check it out.

AAA Gripper

AAA Gripper have seemingly dropped out of nowhere but the story goes back. The idea was conjured in the summer of 2023 at the first Wrong Speed Records festival in the town of Glastonbury. Inspired by a weekend of radical sounds and fine company a decision was made – ‘let’s try something’.

They released their debut album ‘We Invented Work For The Common Good’ in May this year on Wrongspeed Records. Featuring members of Hey Colossus, Joey Fat, Cats and Cats and Cats, Sweet Williams.

Fast Blood

FAST BLOOD is frequently compared to an array of artists such as: DESCENDENTS, HOT SNAKES, WHITE LUNG and PRETTY GIRLS MAKE GRAVES. If you can imagine what an unholy amalgamation of these bands would sound like, it would probably not be far off. FAST BLOOD’s sound comprises fast-paced, energetic punk rock with a nod to 90’s midwestern indie/emo, hardcore, and garage punk.

Onlooker

From the gnarled wastes of the Tees Valley came forth the Onlooker. A band of five, steadfast and resolute in their mission to enact sonic annihilation on all who stand before them. Like a doom laden phallus they are rising, always rising, casting shadow over all who dare to label themselves “peers”. Their unyielding musical fury knows no bounds. Devastating, unquenchable, nice lads.

The Unit Ama

A power trio from Newcastle, The Unit Ama have been in existence for twenty-three years now. 2023 saw the release of their most recent album on Gringo Records, entitled ‘Toward’, which suggests the band have plans to be around for a few more years yet.

Their forward-looking aesthetic is informed in equal parts by the intense scorch of Husker Du and Fugazi, the expansiveness of Sonny Sharrock and Pharoah Sanders, and the networked DIY activitism of Discord Records.

Ox Scapula

Formed in 2006 OS were once regulars in the Leeds DIY scene but hadn’t played these parts in years until they performed at Endless Spite last year. They were so great we decided to bring them back again. Maybe they will become the Endless Spite house band?

Previous releases were through the well respected Gringo Records, Audacious Art Experiment and Sea Owl. Expect nothing less than frantic stroppy guitars, heavy grooving bass, twisted grooves and ambient droning.

Hidden Youth

Hidden Youth is a Leeds-based band blending ’90s and early 2000s emo and melodic punk rock. Featuring members from bands like Nai Harvest, D-Rail, Beecher, and Eighty Six, their sound draws from Texas Is the Reason, Sunny Day Real Estate, and Jawbreaker.
